This Refund Policy explains the conditions under which refunds, replacements, or compensation may be provided for purchases made through carfaxless.com.

By purchasing and using our services, you agree to this Refund Policy.


Digital Service Notice

CarfaxLess provides digital vehicle history reports and VIN-based information services delivered electronically.

Because our products are digital and generated specifically for submitted VIN numbers, all purchases are generally considered final once a valid report has been delivered.


Standard Delivery Time

Most vehicle history reports are delivered within minutes after successful payment confirmation.

However, in rare situations, delays may occur due to:

  • Third-party provider interruptions
  • Server congestion
  • Data source availability issues
  • External system maintenance
  • Network or infrastructure problems outside our control

12-Hour Delivery Guarantee

If your report is not successfully delivered within 12 hours of your completed purchase due to a technical issue or system delay, CarfaxLess will provide:

  • A full refund of your purchase, and
  • Two complimentary vehicle history reports as compensation

This applies only to cases where the delay originated from our systems or third-party service interruptions involved in processing your request.


Invalid or Failed Reports

If a report is delivered but is:

  • Corrupted
  • Inaccessible
  • Incomplete due to a technical failure
  • Clearly invalid because of a processing error

you may contact us within 7 days of purchase for review.

If the issue is verified, we may provide:

  • A corrected replacement report
  • A refund
  • Additional complimentary reports

at our discretion.


Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued in the following situations:

  • A valid report was successfully delivered
  • The customer entered an incorrect VIN
  • The customer no longer wants the report after delivery
  • Dissatisfaction with vehicle history findings
  • Missing records unavailable from external databases
  • Delays caused by customer-side issues (incorrect email, blocked inbox, connectivity issues, etc.)
  • Abuse of the refund system or violation of our Terms and Conditions

Because our service involves digital delivery and immediate processing costs, valid completed reports are non-refundable.


Duplicate Purchases

If you accidentally purchased the same report multiple times, please contact us within 7 days of the transaction.

Verified duplicate purchases may qualify for:

  • A refund for duplicate charges
  • Store credit
  • Complimentary replacement reports

at our discretion.


Fraud Prevention

To protect against abuse and fraudulent claims:

  • Refund requests may be manually reviewed
  • We may request payment confirmation or transaction details
  • Suspicious activity may result in denial of refund requests
  • Fraudulent chargebacks may lead to account or access restrictions

Payment Processing

Payments on CarfaxLess are securely processed through Stripe.

We do not store full credit card information on our servers.

Chargebacks

Before opening a chargeback with your payment provider or bank, please contact us first at:

Most delivery or billing issues can be resolved quickly by our support team.

Abusive or fraudulent chargebacks may be disputed using transaction and delivery records.


Refund Request Period

All refund or compensation requests must be submitted within 7 days of the original purchase date.

Requests submitted after this period may not be eligible for review.

We may update this Refund Policy periodically. Any updates become effective immediately after publication on this page.
